Terms of Service

1. The Service

IPDN Careers is the candidate platform of Professional Diversity Network, Inc., an online professional networking and recruitment company headquartered at 55 East Monroe Street, Suite 2120, Chicago, IL 60603. The platform presents our career networks, describes our matching process, and allows candidates to register for consideration on live openings and to opt in to transactional SMS updates.

2. Candidate Registration

When you register, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and current. Registration does not create an employment relationship with Professional Diversity Network, Inc. and does not guarantee placement, interviews, or consideration for any particular role. Presenting your profile to an employer occurs only after our team discusses the opportunity with you.

3. SMS Program Terms

IPDN Careers offers an optional transactional SMS program for candidates. Program description: job match alerts, interview appointment reminders, application received confirmations, reschedule notices, application status updates, and offer-stage notifications related to your candidacy with Professional Diversity Network, Inc.

• Consent: You may opt in only by checking the dedicated, unchecked-by-default SMS consent checkbox on our opt-in form. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase, registration, or consideration for any role.
• Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on new roles matching your preferences, your active applications, and scheduled interviews.
• Cost: Msg & data rates may apply. Message and data rates charged by your mobile carrier are your responsibility.
• Opt-out: Reply STOP to cancel at any time. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. After opting out you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages from the program.
• Help: Reply HELP, INFO, or SUPPORT for help, or contact xun.wu@ipdncareers.com or (312) 614-0950.
• Rejoin: Reply START, SUBSCRIBE, YES, or ENROLL to resubscribe after opting out.
• Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The program is available on major U.S. carriers; availability may vary.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the platform, including by submitting false candidate information, impersonating another person, scraping the site, or interfering with its operation. We may suspend access for misuse.

5. Intellectual Property

The site, its content, and the IPDN Careers name are the property of Professional Diversity Network, Inc. or its licensors. You may not reproduce them without written permission.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Professional Diversity Network, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or the SMS program.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at https://ipdncareers.com/terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
